Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

  What a week of God's blessings! It has been so nice this week. Plus we received a lot of good rain. so all is nice and green. I was able to transplant, plant, propagate, and do so much gardening and praying! God gave us a nice week at the beach and just so much peace! The great news too is that we found out that they are opening a Planet Fitness here in Sebastian now, so we will not have to drive all the way down to Vero Beach anymore. God is so great! What a blessing! I really love our house here in VLE, so nice, unfortunately our street is not enforced by police and it is supposed to be 35mph, but cars drive 50, 60, 70 mph, it has gotten very fast and loud. While we loved it here five years ago when we moved here, it is a little more congested, loud, and fast for us. We would like to buy up north and sell in Florida, taxes are higher here and after 30 years, it would be nice to move north closer to family and back to a slow country like environment where I grew up in Sauquoit. ...

  Turtle, redheaded woodpecker, and bunny blessed! I love seeing all the wildlife here where we live in VLE. Just the past few days, I saw so much. My neighbor Lisa told me too, she say the alligator near the lake and pond, and now does not want to take her dogs down that far. She said it sounds like a pig oinking. I have heard that sound too, I thought maybe it was the wild boar that I have seen around here.  I just like my walks by the pond and lake here. What a blessing! And then a short drive to the beach, it is also a blessing from God to enjoy! This county and country living offers so much peace and nature to enjoy! God is really so good to us here!   Today, like every single day, was a blessing from God!  The beach today was so lovely! What a blessing this morning! We are so blessed! Absolutely beautiful! God is so good to us! Then I even went for a walk by the lake and pond this evening in VLE where I live, just so wonderful in nature. An old colleague from worked called and we talked for a long time. I had a blessed career! Almost 40 years as an educator, so many blessings and accomplishments, so many wonderful students and research papers written. I am just so blessed, and now to be retired and have so much peace and blessings from God! I am turning it all over to Him! He has always taken such great care of me and still does! What can I complain about? While people and government disappoint, God never does. I am filled with gratitude, prayer, positivity, love, and joy in the Lord!                                                  We need to count our blessings at all times! Always! Today so many are so unhappy. They are negative, hateful, and live in misery. It is sad to see. We need to pray for them, teach them the joy of Jesus and gratitude. We see so much aggression today by some people, also unhappy people, this is not normal, we need to live with love, being kind, loving, and patient. We have some nice pineapples growing in our backyard, a lot of them, but two have babies coming soon, new fruit. I am blessed to have the beach, pond, and lake close by to go to, walk, pray, and enjoy. I sure enjoyed all this week. We even had a bad incident where someone backed into my car, at the Wabasso Beach he did minor damage to my door wall, a little dent. the guy sped off instead of assuming responsibility, but then he returned and paid me a small ...
