Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

                                             Create a clean heart in me, O God, and renew a faithful spirit within me. ~Psalm 51:10 I feel so blessed! God is creating in me a clean heart. He renews a faithful spirit within me, what a blessing! I had I nice walk this week by the lake and woods by my house, which I love. I love all the nature and peace here. We have a big lake and pond close by, I love all the woods, nature, plants, animals, it is so nice to be around, it gives me so much peace and I pray and give thanks to God as well. The beach was nice, it has been cloudy this week, cooler some, the water is cooler, but still I enjoy it. I love seeing all the birds, the seagulls, sandpipers, and pelicans. I really feel so blessed. God continues to bless us and give us peace. Peace is so important. I just do not know how people live without God in their lives. Without Jesus...

  We have a lot of wonderful wildlife here where we live! This hawk has been on my pole and wire by my house a lot lately. I see and hear him a lot. A very beautiful bird! I thought it was an eagle of sorts, I was looking up to see, but it looks like it is a hawk. I have maybe narrowed it down to either a Broad-winged Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, or maybe a Rough-legged Hawk, according to what I could find and research online by the way it looks. It has a lot of white or light colors, some darker around the wings, but fairly light. It is very majestic to look and and watch, it perches for long periods of time, just looking around, even like licking its upper feathers. It also almost looks like an owl somewhat too. Anyway, I have seen this one like this here where we live in VLE a lot for the past two years or so. I feel bad as so much of the woods and forest are being taking down to build houses, it worries me they won't have an environment to live in anymore. We are very blessed to live...

  I just love the woods here in VLE, the pond, and the lake, so picturesque and nice to walk around! We are blessed and lucky to live in this little piece of paradise here in Florida. Woods, lakes, ponds, and the beach so close to us. I love the dirt roads, cows, horses, cattails all around us! There is something very special about this place here in VLE in Indian River County! So so blessed! 

  I love this little lake by our house, it is nice to walk around or bike. I love seeing all these pine trees, plus all the pretty holly, many still have many holly berries still! It is nice to see the pine needle floors here by all the pine trees around the lake. Very pretty, nice to be out in nature and to walk and be at peace with God and nature. We love our country home here in VLE! So much peace and quiet! So much tranquility! Life is so much better in the country! Thank you God!  There were some really big birds, vultures in some of the trees today! 

                                                    Our neighborhood is slowly losing our woods, wild animals, and peace! They are building up a storm around here! We love the countrylife here, we are just worried about the poor animals, woods, and our peace. I hope it still stays quiet and peaceful here. They sure are building a lot here, new houses going up each day all around. I worry about all the animals that live in these trees, they took down all these trees just to build these two new houses on 88th Street.  We love our lake and dirt roads, all the quiet and peace here, I hope it can still stay that way for another 20+ years for us here.                                               ...
