Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

Counting my weekly blessings this lovely Friday here in VLE! It was a green flag day today at the beach! I just love our beaches in this county, I love Wabasso Beach!  What a blessing! So nice all week long! I got to take some nice walks in the woods, by the pond and lake. I saw a very cute brown bunny, he let me take his photo. It has been a week of blessing! And I am counting mine for sure! God is so good to me! I received a nice letter from the President of the United States this week, it was so nice to see. I pray for them and thanked him for all the wonderful 250th birthday celebrations for our country on Independence Day on the 4th of July. Thankfully all my spouses family is fine who were greatly affected by the bad earthquake in Cali, Colombia, 7.4. It was so bad for them. We are praying for all the Colombians impacted by this. We received our projected property tax bill this week, it is higher again this year, just keeps going up. The county is very greedy for sure, they j...

Just so blessed! Thank you God for everything! Summer green flag days of calm waters, just so nice at the beach! I saw the bunny at the beach twice this week. He lives in the sand dune before going down to the beach. Eats the leaves of the purple flowering plant there. He is so cute! It has been so nice this week, just so hot. We need more rain for sure. It is peaceful and calm here now where we are. I love VLE and the Wabasso Beach. This county has many great attributes, much calmer and country like for sure here. I am trying to continue to stay prayerful, grateful, positive, loving, and joyful in the Lord. I see so many that live ignorant lives filled with hate in their hearts, it is sad to see for sure.  Some can be so negative, hateful, and live in misery. God wants more for us than that. I am reading a nice book now on Qigong, learning the breathing and all to do some healing and feeling well. It is so interesting, I love meditation, prayer, and breathing exercises that make a...

What a day of blessings! While we did have rain overnight and some while out and about, a lot while out at our home, we did enjoy a nice outing. We had a nice time at Golden Sands Beach, it was so nice, a real blessing, fairly calm, and so nice. We had wanted to go to Pelican Island Refuge and the Sebastian Inlet, we have lived here for 3+ years, but have never gone that far north before on A1A. Today we did! What a blessing! So nice, no people, so much nature and dunes and all. It was a lovely day to see all. There are so many trails for hiking and birding. So much to see and enjoy! God is so good to us here where we live. The beaches at the Sebastian Inlet reminded us of Cape Cod some, so much nature, little growth or population in this area. We are blessed blessed blessed! We live in such a pristine, naturally, and peaceful place with so much nature to enjoy and give thanks to God for! What a blessing!
