Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

  Today, like every single day, was a blessing from God!  The beach today was so lovely! What a blessing this morning! We are so blessed! Absolutely beautiful! God is so good to us! Then I even went for a walk by the lake and pond this evening in VLE where I live, just so wonderful in nature. An old colleague from worked called and we talked for a long time. I had a blessed career! Almost 40 years as an educator, so many blessings and accomplishments, so many wonderful students and research papers written. I am just so blessed, and now to be retired and have so much peace and blessings from God! I am turning it all over to Him! He has always taken such great care of me and still does! What can I complain about? While people and government disappoint, God never does. I am filled with gratitude, prayer, positivity, love, and joy in the Lord!                       You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.   I just love the woods here in VLE, the pond, and the lake, so picturesque and nice to walk around! We are blessed and lucky to live in this little piece of paradise here in Florida. Woods, lakes, ponds, and the beach so close to us. I love the dirt roads, cows, horses, cattails all around us! There is something very special about this place here in VLE in Indian River County! So so blessed! 

  I just love the little pond by our house and then the lake right next to it! Love all the tall pine trees and all the Florida Holly trees with the red berries still. I hope I can grow some around my house. I love all the dirt roads and trails and to be able to walk around the pond and lake. It is nice to see turtles, cardinals, owls, squirrels, and all the beauty from God right in our own backyard.  I love my hikes around our neighborhood, even my bike rides, we are so blessed to live in such a beautiful and quiet country-like living!
