Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

  It was nice to see this visitor today when I was sitting on my lanai saying my rosary and reading this afternoon. This friend came right up to me while I was sitting there and then kept walking to the flower patch. I love seeing all this wildlife here where we live. It is nice to have woods and a lake close by and to hear crickets and frogs at night, it is very peaceful here for the most part. It is nice to live in the country here in Vero Lake Estates! We are all blessed! 

  We are so blessed to live just 10-15 minutes from like five great beaches here in Indian River County! Wabasso Beach is so nice, I love Golden Sands the best, but we are lucky and blessed to have like five beaches all just minutes away with free parking to boot! Where I lived in Palm Beach County previously, you have to pay at most beaches. The beach has been calm for the past week or so. The water is so nice. Just a short drive down on 85th Street/Wabasso Road and you are at the beach! What a blessing from God! 

Visited by turtles and cardinals! It is a real blessing here at our new country home!   

  The beach has been very lovely the past few days! So blessed, nice weather and good beach times. This evening we finally got some much needed rain, thank God! Life is better when we count our blessings! 

  I saw this sign someone left at the beach the other day! I agree, life is better at the beach that is why I am there daily! I love it there. It has been quite lovely all week, so hot and refreshing in the water! So so blessed!

  I have never seen such a huge yellow grasshopper like this in my entire life! Amazing! God has blessed this Earth with so many amazing critters and insects like this! I see a lot of grasshoppers here, big small and all colors it seems! What a blessing!

  I love seeing cattails here all over! Nice living in the country! It reminds me of my childhood! I never knew that Florida had cattails! What a blessing!
