Vero Lake: Living in the Country here in Florida

  I loved the prayer and message from Joel today! Very very nice! We all need to remember this! We need to count our blessings and see all the favor, blessings, and overflow from God each day! He goes us so much! We often forget this. This is a nice prayer above from the Bible and also the prayer from Joel below, it is a good thing to count our blessings each day! More miracles and blessings always come in abundance when we count our blessings always! God is always more-than-enough! We are blessed with a beautiful new house and living in the country, so much peace, close to the beach and a quiet country environment. So so blessed!  A Prayer for Today “Father, thank You that You are a more-than-enough God, and You want my cup to overflow with blessings. Help me to enlarge my vision of what You can do and start living with an abundant mentality. I declare that I am taking the limits off myself and You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

  I see this rusty turtle around here quite a bit. Today he came right up while I was close and starting eating my flowers/zinnias.  How bold of him! He is cute and it is nice to have these little critters come around here. We are blessed with so much nature here in VLE! 

  There was almost a double rainbow here if you look closely. We are so blessed, nice rain, cooler weather, the beach, wildlife, sunsets, we sure do have a lot to count our blessings for where we live! I love seeing cows, horses, ponies, dirt roads, cattails, and community spirit here in the Sebastian/Wabasso area where we live. It is nice to hear the football games and marching band at night from our VLE home. So so blessed! 

So this cute frog/toad in my cardboard palm yesterday, so cute!  Growing some nice green peppers in my backyard!  Love all my flowers and Zinnias!  So so blessed!   

  I love when my friends come to visit! Especially this one! I have seen him come in my backyard many times. Usually when I am sitting on the lanai saying my rosary. Yesterday, I was in the backyard and he was there. He even let me get really close, stopped and stayed for a while. I always talk to him. I told him how pretty his shell design was as it had a tessellating hexagon shaped design on his back.  I use photos to teach me. I like to import them into GeoGebra software and then do the math on the photos using all the tools in GeoGebra. The turtle stopped and was still for a while so I took a few pictures or his back shell and on in front. He did not seem afraid. It is always a pleasure to see all the wildlife all around me here in Florida. I love seeing the ibis, the limpkins, the moorhens, even the other day when I was driving toward the beach I saw a small black bobcat cross the road on Orchid Island and run into the woods near the beach I go to. I  guess they ar...

  This is the second huge yellow grasshopper that I have seen in my area! He is huge! In NY I remember a lot of them, but smaller green ones, Here I have seen many types of colors, this yellow one is amazing right here in VLE! 

I love when these feathered friends stop by for a visit! My mother always loved birds! It is always such a pleasure to see the Ibis in your yard and coming for a visit!  WE are blessed here with so much wildlife!   

  It was nice to see this visitor today when I was sitting on my lanai saying my rosary and reading this afternoon. This friend came right up to me while I was sitting there and then kept walking to the flower patch. I love seeing all this wildlife here where we live. It is nice to have woods and a lake close by and to hear crickets and frogs at night, it is very peaceful here for the most part. It is nice to live in the country here in Vero Lake Estates! We are all blessed! 

  We are so blessed to live just 10-15 minutes from like five great beaches here in Indian River County! Wabasso Beach is so nice, I love Golden Sands the best, but we are lucky and blessed to have like five beaches all just minutes away with free parking to boot! Where I lived in Palm Beach County previously, you have to pay at most beaches. The beach has been calm for the past week or so. The water is so nice. Just a short drive down on 85th Street/Wabasso Road and you are at the beach! What a blessing from God!
